Beer

My favorite fall beer turned out to be the Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale. My least favorite? Surprisingly it was the Gritty's Halloween - even on cask I was not impressed. DFH Punk was good, Shipyard Pumpkinhead, Geary's Autumn, Smuttynose Pumpkin all worth a try.

Starting to get tired of the pumpkins though (happens every year), ready for the next season.

Since you're ignoring the awesomeness of the Octoberfest-beers, I won't mention Victory Festbier or Bells Octoberfest again. At some point, you'll have to recognize.

Anyway, after drinking Allagash Tripel on cask tonight, I tried the Cape Ann Pumpkin Stout. While it was interesting, I felt the same way about that beer as I did the Brooklynweisse: I would have loved to have separated the two beer styles and had what appeared to be a good stout and a good pumpkin beer (in Brooklyn's case, it was a good IPA and a good Hefeweiss).

I agree about the Gritty's Halloween (although it's better on cask than it is on regular tap or in the bottle). I was never a huge fan, but other people appear to be. Go figure.
